Great article!

The positioning of Scrum in the liminal space between complex and complicated (and the positioning of Kanban in the complicated) doesn't come from myself - that is attributed back to Dave Snowden, the father of Cynefin.

I picked this up when watching the YouTube video of Dave Snowden being interviewed - "What's next for Agile with Dave Snowden" (you will need to look it up yourself as I can't post URLs here). He does describe why he puts them there which I would agree with. He also foretells the coming of a pure complex agile method.
